Jen McClellan
Thought Leadership and Executive Visibility
Jen McClellan works with IBEX Partners on Thought Leadership and Executive Visibility. Jen was an EVP/Managing Director, most recently with BCW (Burson-Marsteller, WPP) and previously with Edelman. She is a specialist in corporate reputation, executive positioning, thought leadership, and media relations with two decades of experience. At BCW, Jen created and led the Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership specialty offering, focused on developing thought leadership, enterprise and executive positioning and recognition, and media strategies for clients. Jen helps clients and teams create programs that map to business strategy and move the needle on reputation and social impact.
Jen has worked with organizations and executives in a variety of industries – from financial and professional services giants to consumer brands and major tech players – and across various stages of development – from start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures to Fortune 250 and other large, complex enterprises. Jen has relationships with top-tier conferences and media organizations, as well as leading editors, reporters, and influencers, having previously led reputation management, enterprise communications and executive thought leadership programs for a variety of matrixed organizations.
Jen is one of the industry’s foremost experts on the World Economic Forum (WEF, Davos), having developed and overseen more than a decade of thought leadership and influencer engagement programs, including six years on-the-ground in Davos for the WEF’s Annual Meeting. Jen also regularly attends and consults with clients on Milken Global Conference, Fortune CEO Initiative, Fortune Brainstorm Tech and other Fortune marquee events including MPW, NYT DealBook and New Rules Summit, WSJ C-Suite and tech/innovation events including The Future of Everything, The Atlantic events including Aspen Ideas Festival and The Atlantic Festival, Fast Company Innovation Festival and The Nantucket Project. She is a member of Fortune’s Global Advisory Panel.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College and has completed 26 hours of equity analyst training in the insurance sector through SNL Financial’s annual training at Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. She was the New York Chapter President of the Board of the Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS) for two years. Jen is also a member of The Economic Club of New York and the Financial Women’s Association (FWA).
