Sarah is a writer, researcher and editor. Her specialties include international organizations and politics, stakeholder analysis, and website and social media communications strategy.
Before joining IBEX, Sarah worked for several years in nonprofit organizations and government. While in graduate school, she interned with the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and the Fund for Peace in Washington, D.C. Previously, she managed communications, fundraising and grants at Neighborhood Legal Services Program, a legal nonprofit in Washington, D.C. Sarah has also worked in environmental education in Vermont and as a stipend volunteer with Habitat for Humanity in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Sarah received an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Chinese and National Security Studies from Dickinson College. She has lived and studied in China, Italy, and Switzerland.
Sarah is originally from Robbinsdale, Minnesota and is currently based in Washington, D.C. She is a former canoe guide and enjoys camping and hiking.
